Terms of Service
The rules for using Mechanics4U as a customer, professional or parts seller.

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Mechanics4U (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Mechanics4U operates a three-sided marketplace connecting customers, repair professionals and parts sellers across Pakistan. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Professionals and parts sellers may be asked to complete additional identity and business verification before transacting.
3. Bookings & services
When you book a service, you enter into a direct agreement with the professional for the work described. Mechanics4U facilitates the booking, payment and communication but is not the provider of the repair work itself. Estimated prices, response times and availability shown on a listing are indicative and may change before a job is confirmed.
4. Payments (PKR)
All prices on the Platform are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Payments for bookings are held in escrow and released to the professional only after you confirm the job is complete. Mechanics4U charges a service commission of up to 12% on completed jobs and up to 10% on parts sales, plus any applicable subscription fees for Pro and Store plans. Taxes are charged where required by Pakistani law.
5. Professional & seller verification
Professionals undergo identity and skill verification, and parts sellers may be required to verify business details and product authenticity. Verification helps build trust but does not constitute a warranty by Mechanics4U of any individual's work, qualifications or the genuineness of any specific part. You should exercise your own judgement before engaging a provider.
6. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellation windows and any applicable fees are shown at the time of booking. If a professional does not show up or a dispute is not resolved in your favour, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of escrowed funds under our money-back guarantee.
7. Disputes
If a job does not meet the agreed scope, you may open a dispute within 3 days of completion. We provide a resolution process based on photo evidence, chat records and, for larger amounts, human review. Mechanics4U's decision in good-faith disputes is final for amounts processed through the Platform.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by circumventing payments, posting false reviews, listing counterfeit parts, harassing other users, or attempting to access the Platform's systems without authorisation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
9. Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, Mechanics4U is not liable for the quality of repair work, parts supplied by sellers, or losses arising from your dealings with other users, beyond the amounts processed through the Platform for the relevant transaction.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@mechanics4u.pk.
